Some times when we are young and still deciding what to do with our lives, we don't see right off that there actually are careers for the artistic. That's why I was going to study engineering. It's good that I didn't. I gave up on that when I got into Western Washington University's art department and proceeded to go through the graphic design program where I focused on print production. I now work as a designer at Blind Renaissance in Wenatchee. I hope someday to build a screen printing studio where I can design and create poster art and and t-shirt graphics.

Kasey Koski

I'm a Wenatchee based graphic designer working in publishing and event production. I am also painter and arts activist working with other artists to make local arts/crafts/design a prominent force within the community. I want to make this sleepy town sit up and take notice. Some of my other interests are music, kayaking, reading, travel, cooking, wine, getting lost in the woods, photography, chocolate, journaling, cheese, organic gardening, philosophy and history.

I've been creative as long as I can remember - and a skier longer than that. So in college I combined my love of great design and great gear and studied industrial design. But I credit the real world for teaching me the most about design and business - from product development and international production, to the power of design in a brand's ability to drive pop culture trends all over the world.

Tyler Thompson

I grew up as a graffiti artist tagging trains in the Northwest. Sometime in the late 90's I made the transition from fine artist to designer. The road from then to now is long, so I will summarize: There was some schooling, a degree, a marriage, some traveling, design jobs, a baby, and now a business. I enjoy strong coffee, adult beverages, loud music, apple computers, things you dip chips into, and my family. Tyler is also co-founder of ProCreative.
